Hi, I’m Stephanie, the human behind Pet Portrait Couture.

I’m an award-winning portrait photographer with more than 20 years of experience creating fine art portraiture. I bring that same polished, heirloom approach to custom pet portraits. My background in professional photography guides every piece I create, from the overall composition and styling to the expression, color palette, finishing details, and emotional impact of the final artwork.

Pet Portrait Couture was inspired by my lifelong love of animals and my nearly 17-year-old soul dog, Betsey, whom I lost in 2026. This is a heart project and a love letter to the animals who become part of our stories, fill our homes with personality, and leave pawprints on our hearts long after they’re gone. Whether your portrait is classic, whimsical, royal, minimalist, colorful, or couture-inspired, my goal is to create a piece of art that honors your favorite four-legged family member.

Every piece begins with your pet’s photo and is thoughtfully designed, styled, retouched, and refined with an artist’s eye. Some portraits are elegant. Some are sentimental. Some are completely ridiculous in the best possible way. But each and every piece is created with love and reverence, because sometimes our pets are the ones who get us through the hardest parts of being human.
